Looking Back Another Three Months
Welcome back to another bite-sized three-month review—this time to the joyful knowing that summer is finally here!
The past three months have been full of so much liveliness. We got away for Joshua’s birthday, spent a long weekend with my family, began working through our summer hiking list, went on our road trip, celebrated our youngest nephew’s first birthday, started our camping adventures, and planted some vegetables in pots on our porch.
Between the stuffed calendars and the weather turning toward summer, the reading list progress slowed significantly. We still managed to snag a few afternoons of reading in the hammock with cold beers while Jack wandered around, eating grass.

For the rest of the summer, I’m looking forward to harvesting a few meals from our porch plants, spending long, hot days with loved ones in lakes, rivers, and pools, camping at least once more, reading another stack of books, and continuing our weekend exploration of this lovely state.
